APPROACH
I offer short and long-term counselling, online or in-person in Winchester, Hampshire.
Whilst each person, relationship, and counselling process are unique, here I describe my general approach so you can decide if that feels right for you.

I believe counselling requires a relationship with clear purpose, communication, and boundaries. I work with as much authenticity and integrity as I can, open to your feedback about what works for you. I commit to being alongside clients without judgement, allowing you to unburden and process your situation, thoughts, and feelings.

I see counselling as a conversation where we work together as partners. You set the pace and the direction, and I bring my curiosity, intuition, and theoretical knowledge. Together, we can explore what is troubling you, unravel mysteries, honour important experiences, and find meaning.
During counselling I can often shine light on patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that create limitations or harm. Together, we can look underneath those patterns, find alternative approaches, and create new ideas, outlooks, and practices. I can share therapeutic tools and exercises that support this process, creating experiences where emotions can be felt, accepted, and released. My focus is on enabling your development according to your priorities and goals.
